Prepare for additional gridlock on I95 from Miami-Dade to Broward. Phase 2 of the I-95 Express Lanes is expected to open this fall. Phase 2 will extend the lanes from the North Miami-Dade flyover at Golden Glades to Broward Boulevard. Plans call for a new entrance just north of the Golden Glades. A second entrance will be located just south of Hallandale Beach Boulevard. If you are heading north coming onto 95 from Ives Dairy Road you will be able to enter the Express Lanes. The Express Lanes will continue north and there will be an exit to Griffin Road and Interstate 595. One lane will continue north until just south of Broward Boulevard.
